Daliso Chaponda

‘A joy to listen to. Provocative, poignant and ultimately hilarious’ – The Guardian

A stand out star of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017, he gained a runner-up spot capturing the nation’s hearts and garnering over eight million Facebook views, nine million on Youtube and his own BBC Radio 4 series Daliso Chaponda: Citizen of Nowhere as well as appearances on The World Stands Up, Lorraine, Good Evening Britain and Just For Laughs. Fresh from a sell-out solo theatre tour he will be previewing material from his forthcoming Edinburgh Festival solo show.

Peter Brush

‘Yorkshire’s answer to Woody Allen’ – Harrogate Advertiser

A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.Peter has been a finalist in a variety of local and national comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Award 2013, as well as winning the Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and has provided UK tour support for Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos. In 2015 he performed his debut solo hour ‘Older Than The Oldest Dog That Ever Lived’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving 4*+ reviews. That year he also performed as part of the prestigious ‘Big Value’ showcase run by Just The Tonic.

Rob Mitchell
Rob performed his first set as part of the ‘New Comedians’ night at the Liverpool Comedy Festival in Autumn 2014. The following week he won his first competition with Funhouse comedy and hasn’t looked back since. The following year Rob came second in Liverpool’s Hot Water comedy ‘New Act of the Year’ Final. In 2018 he won the ‘New Comedian of the Year’ competition at Bury Met, and was awarded Teknicolour Smoof’s Performer of the Year.

Compere – Anthony J Brown
‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List. BBC New Comedy Award Runner Up.
