Leeds trio Vendettas ride the wave of the northern indie scene with their mod revival 60s inspired rock and roll. Showcasing quintessential mod and garage influences, Vendettas have taken Leeds by storm with their bluesy guitar riffs and infectious attitude at their notorious and energetic live performances. Their huge, loyal, sharp dressing, parka wearing following has seen them play at respected venues across the North, including the legendary Cockpit in Leeds, and a sold out EP launch at The Wardrobe. 2014 brought support for bands such as The Family Rain, The View, Skaters and Steve Craddock (Ocean Colour Scene/Paul Weller). Vendettas also performed sets at Tramlines, Live At Leeds, and the BBC introducing stages at the Leeds & Reading festivals, making their mark as front runners of the unsigned scene. Recorded with Mike Heaton (Embrace), Double A-side; ‘Stuck In Your World’ and single; ‘You Should Know’ showcase the trio at their ‘Britmod’ best; with sounds from 60s garage rock and roll to 80s mod revival merging to create a distinct raw and retro sound. Championed by BBC Introducing and lauded by music journalists, Vendettas have a promising 2015 including a full UK tour and more releases.
