Edinburgh Festival Preview Double Header Special!

Justin Moorhouse

“Brimming with confidence, Moorhouse exudes a likeable energy that could raise the dead …His affable character has a certain old-fashioned charm, as his is the sort of personality which you instinctively trust to make you laugh – and he doesn’t disappoint…Moorhouse entertainingly recounts his tales and well-made observations… impressive indeed”

Described by Jimmy Carr as ‘easily my favourite comedian’, Justin has a stack of TV credits including playing Young Kenny with the tiger striped face on ‘Phoenix Nights’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’,  ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, ‘The Grumpy Guides’, ‘Shameless’ and ‘The World Stands Up’ amongst others as well as a role in the Ken Loach film ‘Looking For Eric’. His own Radio 4 show ‘Everyone Quite Likes Justin’ is critically acclaimed and into a second series and he is a Sony Award nominated radio presenter in his own right and a staple of Radio 5 Live’s “Fighting Talk’ and ‘7 Day Sunday’. Plus he’s an Edinburgh Festival favourite with a slew of solo UK theatre tours under his belt. So quite the multi media sensation. And not to be missed!

Kiri Pritchard-McLean

“She balances affection with an acute eye for the ridiculous to bring you a stand up set of well delivered, increasingly funny anecdotes..definitely one to watch – Three Weeks “Kiri was by far the funniest & quick witted, one to look out for in the future” Leicester Mercury

“The only female act of the night Kiri Pritchard McLean was the unsung hero. She was excellent in a shortish set … not averse to some self-deprecating humour and provided plenty of laughs about the possibility of becoming a parent.” – Stourbridge News

“I have never seen Kiri before, and was so very, very impressed with her I can scarcely describe it. Kiri has a fantastic array of jokes and a wonderful connection with the audience. Kiri is a fantastic comic, and I urge you all to book her for paid gigs or go and pay money to see her. Just simply hilarious” – Juice

“Not afraid to shock a few people – McLean probably had the hardest laughs of the night and impressed throughout” – Gigglebeats

With a charming stage manner coupled with a deft, quick wit it’s easy to see why Nottingham comedy Festival named Welsh comic Kiri Pritchard-McLean their Breakout Act of the Year.

Compere – Anthony J Brown
‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it’s claw in a coffin lid. Jongleurs/Metro ‘Stand & Deliver’ Award winner and former BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up he is a regular contributor to Radio 2’s ‘The Arthur Smith Lectures’. As seen on ‘The Stand Up Show’ and ‘Phoenix Nights’.
