“She is, without doubt, a true star. The world just doesn’t know it yet.” Real Radio

Abi Moore’s prowess lies in crafting effortless, instantly engaging melodies, a gift for the lyrical observation of her own and other people’s lives, and a talent for stamping her unique take on universally relevant subjects. She is well known for her ability to engage a live audience and for the astounding voice with which she takes powerfully insightful lyrics and delivers them with absolute conviction and honesty. Whether she’s laying bare a heartbreaking vulnerability or raising a flag of protest, she packs a punch of integrity and vitality at every turn.

Despite being staunchly independent, her D.I.Y approach hasn’t stopped her from being noticed commercially. She released her debut album “The Aftermath of ’96” in 2006 and followed it with “Things We Should’ve Said” in 2009. Whilst the first album received widespread critical acclaim and led to support slots for artists such as Midge Ure, LAU, Jim Moray and 10CC, it was the second that really shone a spotlight on her talents. Maverick Magazine described it as an “evocative and simply stunning album,” and major chains Prezzo and Caffe Nero got involved, with the latter playing her albums daily in all of their UK stores. Her stint as Artist of the Month meant adding a massive 70 live Caffe Nero dates to her 2009 tour and they continue to play her music in- store today.

Abi’s third album, “Amoeba & Stone” had its fan- release in October in her home county of Lincolnshire with two packed- out launch shows, as a thank you to her loyal home crowd. Its international release in February 2014 will cement Abi Moore as an artist with undoubted credibility. She is that rare gem that the modern music industry seems to have lost: an artist with longevity worth investing in, and whose musical journey will be an exciting one to witness.

“If her thought provoking, observational, truthful and socially aware lyrics don’t get you hooked, her astounding voice certainly will.” Caffe Nero
