Gavin Webster

‘Funny, clever and as brilliantly observed as you’ll find’ – The Scotsman

‘His daftness is little short of surreal genius’ – The Stage

A hilarious, thought-provoking Geordie raconteur with a staggering turn of phrase, his slew of credits include ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, ‘The Stand-Up Show’, ‘The Comedy Store’, ‘The 11 O’ Clock Show’, ‘Does Doug Know’ and ‘The Show What You Wrote’. Famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach and distinctly original routines, he now boasts a large cult following round the country and particularly on his native Tyneside where he sells out theatres with his one man ninety minute shows. Hard edged routines, quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs, his unique style is a joy to behold.

Jay Hampson

‘A baby-faced comedic assassin with an impressive vocabulary and a witty line in self-deprecatory cynicism’ –

Winner of the coveted Crooked Smile Comedy Award in August 2011. Jay is a brilliantly droll and effortlessly articulate performer proffering evocative imagery coupled with caustic quips that chronicle his transformation from a Manchester ghetto kid into a self-loathing, Guardian-reading, consumer of overpriced organic products.

Nicola James

‘Inventive material and onstage poise in abundance, Nicola is a sardonic treat’ –

If you’ve ever wanted to understand the psychology behind chintzy patterns and serial killers she’s the one to watch.   She is a Sheffield based comedian who has quite rightly been described as ‘sweetly cynical’.

Compere – Anthony J Brown

‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List
Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it’s claw in a coffin lid. Jongleurs/Metro “Stand & Deliver” Award winner and former BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up he is a regular contributor to Radio 2’s “The Arthur Smith Lectures”. As seen on ‘The Stand Up Show’ and ‘Phoenix Nights’.
