THE BUSHBURY MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS 2013  20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR with SUNJAY BRAYNE

The Bushbury Mountain Daredevils are back! They were never really away…just resting. 2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the formation of the band, originally from Bushbury, Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The Bushbury’s started life as street performers in the UK and Europe. Following the success of their first album, “Bushbury Mountain” in 1994, the band went on to perform at all major festivals, building a huge fan base in the process. The 2013 line-up captures the folk and country essence of the early Bushbury’s sound and features original members Eddy Morton (vocals, mandolin, harmonica, guitar and accordion), Eric Barlow (vocals and guitar) and Paul Hodson (vocals, ukulele bass and foot drum).

Sunjay Brayne, Winner of the Wath Festival Young Performers Award 2012, BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Nominee 2012 & New Roots Competition Finalist 2012, Sunjay’s accolades are formidable for somebody who turned 19 just a few months ago. Hailed by top artists across the genres such as Vin Garbutt, Terry Reid & Chris Smither, Sunjay has an onstage presence many musicians would give their eye teeth for. Reminiscent of Ralph McTell, John Martyn & Jackson C. Frank, aged 19 Sunjay is perhaps the last of the ‘1960’s’ guitar players.

The two West Midland’s based acts complement each other perfectly. Together they are a frighteningly good live show, ripping up audiences wherever they go.
