Seymour Mace

‘Brilliantly weird’ – chortle.co.uk

‘Relentless originality…manic and gripping’ – The Guardian

Like a truly bizarre hybrid of Harry Hill, Half Man Half Biscuit and Viz comic Seymour is a teller of extremely tall tales and High Priest of the terrifically twisted one-liner. He is a former City Life Comedian of the Year and Best Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards. He was also victorious in the Cup A Soup Comedy Challenge.
You may mock such a curiously named title but the prize money was 10 grand. Strewth. He has featured on ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, ‘The Weird World Of Russell Brand’, ‘The Stand-Up Show’ and ‘Clive Anderson’s Chat Room’. He was also a regular in BBC2’s Johnny Vegas sitcom ‘Ideal’ playing the ill-fated twins ‘Craig’ and ‘Steve’. As a result he is now unable to walk down the street without being recognised by the nation’s stoners.

His recent Edinburgh Festival show ‘Squeg’ garnered rave reviews including 4 stars from the hugely influential comedy website Chortle.

Mike Newall

‘His laid back delivery almost insinuates a disinterest in the proceedings, but his timing is pin sharp, his control is deft and his hair is immaculate’ – The Scotsman

‘Mike Newall’s style is quiet, thoughtful and casual. The material is excellently timed, deceptively clever and very funny’ – City Life

A former City Life New Act finalist, Mike writes great observational material with a hint of the surreal and positively oozes onstage charisma. Imagine Liam Gallagher with wit. And a vocabulary. He is a veteran of two critically acclaimed Edinburgh Festival solo shows as well as headlining the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show. He is supporting Alun Cochrane on his UK theatre tour in 2013.

Amy Gledhill

‘Comedy gold’ – Shane Allen, BBC comedy commissioner

‘Commands the stage… Incredibly accomplished’ –  Funny Women Magazine

A finalist in the national Funny Women competition 2012, she’s won various local competitions, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is undoubtedly one to watch on the Northern comedy circuit with her mildly warped but irrefutable logic.

‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it’s claw in a coffin lid. And not the merest hint of profanity. The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface. Jongleurs/Metro “Stand & Deliver” Award winner and former BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up he is a regular contributor to Radio 2’s “The Arthur Smith Lectures”.
